Fighting, Hunting, Impressing. Arms and Armour from the Islamic World 1500 – 1850
A special exhibition displaying a large number of Islamic arms and armour from Danish collections: In warfare, in hunting, and as symbols of rulership; in a wider context, through their inscriptions, from literature, and in the scriptures of the Quran, as well as their representations from trophies to museum objects.
